“ Great location, great drinks, great vibe. Happy hour on a Saturday and the place was understaffed. No matter how friendly the bar staff were, they needed more people. I really enjoyed the margaritas. I hope they sort things out as I would love to give them another try! ”

“ We popped in on a Friday evening for happy hour while waiting for our reservation at a nearby restaurant. We sat at the bar which was not crowded at all, which was nice considering the nice weather. The bartender was Isaiah and he was excellent. The bar was a cool vibe and we had really amazing service. As we were eating dinner elsewhere, we just had some wings and drinks. The buffalo wings were really good and we took a chance and tried the 'bama style white sauce which were delish. Not sure was I expected but it was better than expected. We ended up pushing our reservation for dinner back a few times to stay a little longer. I only wish the flavored margaritas were apart of the happy hour. Otherwise, the place was great and we will definitely return. ”

“ I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. We came on a Saturday night and there was a good vibe. We had a couple of drinks at the bar before having dinner at a table. The drinks were superb. We had a peach margarita, a blackberry whiskey smash and a whiskey sour. They were all phenomenal. The food was very good as well, we had wings, a burger and a salad. The staff is super friendly and the decor is cool. We can't wait to come back ”

“ My first time coming to this restaurant. The Louisiana Crawfish Roll is fresh and very good and came with a choice of types of Fresh fries. I chose the sweet potato waffle fries, they came with ketchup, consider asking for honey mustard. The Beef Tournedos came with spinach and mashed potatoes, cooked medium rare as ordered. The steak was tender and the spinach and mashed potatoes were well prepared. Prices are reasonable for meals are reasonable. There are some Happy Hour specials with discounted prices available from 3PM to 6PM. There is also a $29 Price Fixe Menu available which changes entrees to give diners choices. Go and enjoy a night in Bay Shore. ”

“ Finally got to try out American Standard. We went for lunch and of course, I had to try some drinks. The drinks were okay, I'm sure others would like them, but they weren't my type. The hush puppies were good and I ordered a BLFGT Sandwich. My husband went with the Pulled Brisket Sandwich. ”

“ This is one of our favorite local spots! They change up the menu depending on the season but you can't go wrong with their hush puppies, alligator fritters, frito pie, and Nashville chicken sandwich. Espresso martini is also on point! ”

“ My GF and I wanted a brunch spot and we were pointed to American Standard Whiskey. Let's say we were not disappointed when we arrived. It was a Beautiful day and the sun shines right through the front of the establishment giving it an awesome ambiance. They also had a lovely young lady playing her guitar and singing soothing music. The service was awesome and very suitable for what my GF and I were looking for. As you can see from my photos we had The Standard Platter and the Chicken and Waffle sandwich with Truffle Fries. Everything was made with love because with every mouth watering bite we took we did the happy dance! Even though we did not have a drink, the bar was fully stocked. So on my next trip back to NY, I will definitely enjoy an adult beverage and enjoying the night time ambiance even more. ”

“ We came here on a cold, slushy rain Saturday night at about 730/8:00. The hostess and waitress were accommodating after we sat immediately a friend who originally canceled said she was coming and the staff allowed us to move tables. Although I'm pretty sure the waitress was eventually a bit annoyed by us.. yo no se. We ordered several drinks a fan fav was the blueberry mule. It was light airy, refreshing and the blueberry not overwhelming. I got a deliciously smooth Jack and diet, proportioned perfectly and some pineapple margaritas. There is such a variety of drinks on the menu you definitely have to come back a handful of times. Another fan favorite was the "Dark and Stormy". As far as food goes 99% was delicious and cooked to perfection including the Brussels sprouts, Buffalo wings paired with Bama white bbq sauce, some sweet potato waffle fries. The one item I wouldn't try again was the buttermilk biscuit, it came with honey sauce, butter and some kind of fruit dip. It was so dry, I'd say almost stale as if it was left out sitting for a minute or day, with a hard bottom, and came out cold. It was at about 50% capacity as it got later the place definitely filled up. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic, with a live one man band playing a variety of date I say oldie songs that I would say if your from Long Island you hear often at bars and restaurants. ”
